Meet Dr. Battles

 

Dr. Kristen Battles was born and raised in Fresno, California and graduated from San Joaquin Memorial High School.  She attended Fresno State as a member of the Smittcamp Family Honors College and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She then attended UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with a gold membership from the Veterinary Business Management Association. Dr. Battles’s emphasis is general practice with a special interest in surgery and ultrasound. She is very excited to form long-lasting relationships with clients and their furry family members here at Sierra View Animal Hospital. Dr. Battles worked as a part-time veterinary assistant from 2009 to 2013 at Sierra View and is very happy to be back in her hometown as an associate veterinarian.  Dr. Battles shares her home with her husband, Eric, and their black Labrador retriever, Wilder.  Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Battles enjoys hiking, camping, running and spending time with family and friends.
